Like all other member associations, we process personal data in order to carry out our activities.

The Board of RFSL Stockholm is the data controller for personal data that occurs in RFSL Stockholm's activities. Questions regarding data protection of personal data are primarily sent by e-mail to

Personal data is any information that can be linked to a living person. This can include names, addresses and social security numbers. Photos of people are also classified as personal data.
In order to carry out our activities, we use several different suppliers. Some of the IT systems are located in or can be accessed from third countries (i.e. outside the EU or EEA). This mainly concerns e-mail.
Membership of RFSL Stockholm is managed in RFSL's common business system.
Membership
Membership of RFSL Stockholm is managed in RFSL's joint operational system. The task of managing the membership register is regulated in RFSL's statutes and in other decisions adopted by RFSL's congress. More information about the membership system is available at

Gifts
Information about gifts to RFSL Stockholm or any of our member groups is handled in our financial accounting system. The data is retained for the current year plus seven years in order for us to meet the requirements of the Accounting Act.
Volunteering, member groups and member activities
In the course of our activities, we may need to record personal data in order to carry out our activities safely. This may be through information on positions of trust, group membership or attendance at an activity. This data should be deleted when it is no longer needed.
Information on remuneration is managed in our HR system. The data is kept for the current year plus seven years to enable us to meet the requirements of the Accounting Act.
Protocols provided for in the statutes
Minutes kept in accordance with the requirements of the association's statutes must be preserved in perpetuity.
Your rights
You have the right to be informed about what personal data we process about you. You also have the right to have incorrect data corrected.
You also have the right to complain about how we process your personal data to us and to the supervisory authority, the Data Protection Authority. You can do this if you think we are not processing your personal data in accordance with the law.
