Investing in better care for queer women

Gay, bisexual and queer women feel worse than the average population and often do not receive the care we need. RFSL Stockholm is now investing in changing this through the project KSK <3 UMO, which will strengthen and raise the profile of the target group at youth clinics in Region Stockholm. The initiative is commissioned by the Swedish Gender Equality Agency.

💡 What does the initiative mean?
✅ Interactive educational material on health, pleasure and enjoyment of the target group
✅ Concrete tips for healthcare professionals to improve care
✅ The mailing will reach 27 youth clinics in August 2025

- Many people think that only dicks can transmit things. We want to change that perception and create more inclusive care," says project manager Caro Wikbro Rannberg.
