RFSL Newcomers (run by the RFSL Association) is now looking for people in the Stockholm area who can be contact persons for LGBTI asylum seekers. Being a contact person means being a support in the areas where support is needed and can be given, for example in contact with authorities and healthcare. It also means being there as a fellow human being to talk to and consult with.
Many of RFSL's members are in very vulnerable situations. Therefore, it is important that you as a contact person can set aside time and take responsibility. It is important to be clear about how much time you have to set aside so that both parties are aware of this. Do you feel interested? Come to the info meeting on Thursday, March 12 at 17:30-18:30 in the union's premises on floor 3.
