A week ago, a horrific violent crime took place at the PULSE LGBTQ space in Orlando, USA.
49 people lost their lives and many more lost their companions, friends, loves, children. The global LGBTQ community lost its pulse for a moment.
In times of grief and fear, we need to come together. It can be a demonstration on Sergels torg that sends a message that this must never happen.
But we believe we also need to gather in spaces that are our own. Where we can be angry, sad, resigned, combative. Where we can talk, sing, shout and meet.
RFSL Stockholm invites its members, activists and allies to the community evening - Queer grief for Orlando.
The evening will consist of an open stage where you can give speeches, sing, read texts and more. We will also have a program that will be updated here as we/you fill it.
Simple food and drinks are available.
Together we create a solidarity manifestation that we convey to the PULSE bar.

Queer mourning for Orlando - a community event.

A week ago the horrible shooting happened at the lghbtq club PULSE in Orlando, USA.
49 people lost their lives and many more lost their loved ones. For a moment the global LGBTQIA-community lost its pulse.
In times of sorrow and fear we need to come together. It can be at a manifestation at Sergels torg that we send the message that this can never happen again.
But we believe that we also need to meet in rooms of our own. Where we can be angry, sad, hopeless, ready to fight back. Here we can talk, sing, shout and meet.
RFSL Stockholm invites members, activists and allies to the community event - Queer mourning for Orlando.
The evening will provide an open stage for anyone who wants to make a speech, sing, recite texts and so on. We will also have a program of performers which will updated in this event as they get booked.
There will be snacks and drinks.
Together we will create a manifestation of solidarity that we will share with PULSE.
