Co-organization RFSU and RFSL Stockholm
July 30 15-15:45 local Ekoteket PrideHouse
Families exist in many different forms - but family law often assumes that there is only one type of family, which creates difficulties and insecurity for those who live outside the norms. What could a norm-critical family law system look like that is not based on the model of “a heterosexual monogamous couple with their own biological children”? What should be changed in legislation to make Swedish family policy more inclusive and non-discriminatory?

If all goes well, Egalia will participate in a panel discussion on the theme ”Free zones and meeting places in everyday life”. Egalia will also be present at Pride Ung i parken and on the float together with RFSL Ungdom, Iris and others.

What is it like to be young and gay, bi, queer or trans today? Much has improved in terms of rights over the last decade, but do young people notice this in their everyday lives? Transformering.se and HBTQkojan.se are two organizations where young people can turn anonymously to get support from the adult LGBTQ community.
