RFSL Stockholm awards this year's Rainbow Award to actor, playwright and author Oskar Sternulf!
The Rainbow Award goes to a person or an organization that has done something positive for our LGBTI community during the past year. Through the award, we want to recognize and celebrate someone who, for example, has worked for our rights, started new meeting places or who has made one of the groups in our community visible in a positive way. Someone who dared and had the courage when it was really needed.
Oskar has portrayed in an accessible and effective way the experiences of LGBTI people in search of identity and society's reactions to this. With his portrayals, Oskar has made visible, created debate and increased understanding of LGBTQI people's experiences and life situation among broad groups and among both young and old. We would like to thank Oskar for his efforts and hope that he will continue to be a strong and inspiring voice for the community.
