RFSL Stockholm has named the 2016 recipients of the Rainbow Award

for
that with a broad and inclusive definition and mission statement, they have created welcoming meeting places for lesbians of all different variations of gender, age, function, race or income. With its unwillingness to gender or otherwise ascribe categorizations to people, Lesbian Power has become a trailblazer with its multifaceted activities that, like a many-headed Hydra of lesbian interest, provide space for many different kinds of gatherings, exchanges and information sharing. The lesbian community has been considerably enriched by the activities of Lesbian Power. The Association shows great foresight in recognizing that lesbian information and history, like all information, multiplies its value by being disseminated and shared.
