Organizations that actively promote inclusion and safety achieve better results, increasing engagement, reducing sick leave and strengthening relationships with both employees and customers. At the same time, research and experience show that LGBTI people often face invisible barriers at work, from subtle norms to outright discrimination.
Working on LGBTI issues is not just about preventing exclusion. It is also an investment in a work environment where more people can thrive, develop and stay.
This session will introduce you to how gender and sexuality norms affect the world of work and why it matters to the whole organization. You will also get concrete tools to identify barriers, broaden perspectives and build a more inclusive work culture where everyone can contribute fully.

Duration: 1 hour

Through interactive exercises and reflective discussions, we take a closer look at how norms in society affect your business and are reflected in your professional everyday life. We focus on the heteronorm, but take an intersectional perspective. This means that norms around, for example, skin color, age and functionality are also touched upon. This is a fun and practically oriented course. It contributes to new critical perspectives, while at the same time contributing to a more open and friendly conversation between colleagues, on topics that can sometimes seem a bit difficult. This training serves as a mapping of your operations and can be usefully included as part of your overall work on active measures.
