We are looking for you: lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender or queer 55+ with experience of domestic assistance for an interview study!

The project ”A dignified ageing for all” is a collaboration between RFSL, RFSL Stockholm and Stockholm University and aims to create conditions for safe ageing for LGBT people, including by creating educational initiatives for elderly care.

As part of the project, the experiences and support needs of older LGBTQ people and their relatives will be mapped. Do you yourself have experience of home help / different types of help in the home in everyday life (for example, cleaning, cooking, hygiene, transportation, medical help or other), or have you as a relative assisted in the process of acquiring support efforts? Do you also have thoughts on what support needs would be important to cope with everyday life (practical as well as psychological and social)?
Then we would like to talk to you! If you would like to participate in an individual interview or a group interview (please specify), please contact one of us by e-mail or phone.

Janne Bromseth, gender researcher, PhD: Yes************@*******su.se
Mats Christiansen, MS, registered nurse: Ma***************@************sl.se

If you know other older LGBTQ people who have experiences, we are very grateful and happy if you can help spread the word! We can also do a telephone interview if it is difficult to meet in person for various reasons.
All information will be treated confidentially by experienced researchers and participants' names and personal details will be anonymized.
