Homosexuella, bisexuella och queera kvinnor mår sämre än genomsnittet av befolkningen och får ofta inte den vård som vi behöver. Nu satsar vi på RFSL Stockholm på att förändra det genom projektet KSK <3 UMO, som ska stärka och synliggöra målgruppen på ungdomsmottagningar i Region Stockholm. Satsningen görs på uppdrag av Jämställdhetsmyndigheten.

SVT highlights our initiative for better healthcare for queer women! 🏳️‍🌈

Lesbian, bisexual, and queer women experience poorer health than the population at large and often do not receive the care we need. At RFSL Stockholm, we’re working to change that through the KSK <3 UMO project, which aims to strengthen and make this group more visible at youth clinics across the Stockholm region. This initiative is commissioned by the Swedish Gender Equality Agency.

💡 What does the initiative include?
✅ Interactive educational materials on health, pleasure, and well-being for queer women
✅ Practical tips for healthcare professionals on providing better, more inclusive care
✅ The materials will be distributed to 27 youth clinics in August 2025

”Many people think only penises can transmit infections. We want to challenge that perception and create more inclusive healthcare,” says project lead Caro Wikbro Rannberg.
